2014 has come and gone...Happy 2015!

In a blink of an eye 2014 is complete & 2015 is here!
I guess that's what happens when you have a full of life, spontaneous, two and a half year old.

Well lets recap 2014:

Disneyland in March

We had such a blast at Disneyland!
Jaxson's favorite thing: Disney Junior Live! at California Adventure.
He thought most of the rides were too loud and covered his ears.
He talked about Pirates of the Caribbean the most once returning home.
He remembered it was loud and that there was a dog in the ride.

Mommy's favorite thing:
We had a late flight home. The Orange County airport was dead on a Thursday night. Mommy & Daddy let you play football in the aisle way. A gentleman in a suit, traveling for business, approached us and asked how old you were. He commented how intrigued he was by how you could throw and kick a football, so well, at such a young age. He then proceeded to get down and play football with you. He got on one knee and held the football for you multiple times so that you could kick it. I stood back and captured the moment as a proud mama. It was one of those moments in life that I will never forget. It reminded me that there are still great people in this world. I wish to this day I would have asked him for his name so I could thank him a thousand times over. He was an angel in disguise.

Our little Buck-a-roo turns TWO!

I loved every bit of every detail that went into your 2nd birthday party.
Papa & Grammie's house was filled with family, friends and so much love on that day.
We ate Waldo's BBQ, opened presents, smashed a cowboy boot piƱata and indulged in that cake and Bluebell ice cream.
You are a dream Jaxson Reese!

 Cow-a-bunga Dude!

 (HALLOWEEN 2014)

You made the perfect little Michelangelo for Halloween.
As for me, I dressed as your sidekick April O'Neil.
I enjoyed envisioning your costume and then making it all come together...from dying the sweat suit, to making the six-pack, shell, belt buckle and bands.
Home-made costumes are oozing with love and creativity.

Mommy & you moved into our first place together back at the end of July.
Although it may be little -- I've done my best to make it feel like home for us.
My favorite quote is hanging on the wall:
"Love grows best in smaller houses, with fewer walls to separate. Where you eat and sleep so close together, you can't help but communicate. If we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss. Love grows best in houses just like this."

You attended Children's Learning Adventure Preschool for a few weeks while Miss Jody was out of town. We attended their Fall Festival with Papa and Grammy. Talk about sweets, crafts and people galore!

Daddy & Nana met us at Papa and Grammy's house for Halloween. We made a loop of Riverdale, Virginia and Olympic streets before you were over "Trick-Or-Treating". This year was cute because you would say "(something muffled)- treat" and "thank you" at each house. You also insisted on carrying your bucket the whole way even though it was about as big as you ( & as heavy!). You insist you don't like chocolate and Skittles seemed to be a favorite this year.

You made all of the neighbors laugh and quite entertained as you raced up and down the street saying "Ready, set, Go" and "On your marks, set, Go". They cheered you on and gave you candy. You could have kept going all night.

To be continued...
(Thanksgiving & Christmas are up next!)
