Jaxson & Papa!

Jaxson,

I wish I could put into words how amazing of a man your Papa is.
He is a man full of wisdom.
He is a wonderful provider.
He is a hard-worker.
He strives for the best.
He is a positive person.
He is a honest, caring soul.
The man could do no wrong.

I am so honored to call him my father and furthermore, your Papa.
He loves to rock you to sleep in the recliner.
He loves to take you for walks outside.
He likes to fly you around like superman.
& sometimes when your grumpy - he will even dance to make you smile.

He can't wait for you to grow a little older so he can play ball with you and take you out on the boat and teach you how to fish.

I hope you learn and grow under his wings for he will guide you in the right direction.
He will teach you to be truthful, to laugh, to love and to be successful.
I can't wait to see what kind of bond you two form over the years. I can see you guys 5 yrs down the road - with Great Papa & Uncle Ryan too - playing in the mud, playing a ball game, going bug hunting, fishin' on the boat, camping and climbing trees. Most of all being B O Y S!

2 MONTHS OLD = 2 MONTH CHECK-UP & VACCINATIONS
Waiting to leave...(little did you know what you were in for)
STATS:
11 pounds 13 ounces
23 3/4 inches long

Waiting for Dr. Mousser - what a smeesh.
They put a special chemical in your belly button to help it heal a little quicker
(SHWEET Spiderman Band-aid, dude!)
YOU WERE SOO HAPPY AT THIS POINT!

You had to get poked 3 times in your legs & one of them they had you drink.
These will help make you healthy and strong.
I felt so bad seeing you cry.
As soon as they were done, I scooped you up and you settled right down.
You are such a brave little guy.
I sure love you & am so proud of you.
A F T E R  S H O T S  P I C T U R E:
Poor baby!
You weren't crying at all - you could just tell something was wrong.
You ended up falling asleep on our car ride home.
Showing off your battle wounds

9 weeks Old!

Sundays we normally go over to your Grandpa & Grandma Johnson's house.
Last week we took lots of pictures of you
MR. IM 9 WEEKS OLD!!!!

"Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid; one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory. Build me a son whose heart will be clear, whose goals will be high; a son who will master himself before he seeks to master other men; one who will reach into the future, yet never forget the past. And after all these things are his, give him, I pray, enough of a sense of humor, so that he may always be serious, yet never take himself too seriously. Give him humility, so that he may always remember the simplicity of true greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, and the meekness of true strength."

1st day of School (aka Miss Jodys)

I started back to work at the end of August.
We chose Miss Jody to watch you on Thursdays while I'm at work.
She lives on the same street that your Daddy grew up on and
even watched your Aunties Levi & Ky.

Your first day with her was Thursday, August 23, 2012.

We take a bath the night before, I wake you up in the morning about 6 a.m., I change you and get you dressed, we eat and then we are out the door.
These pictures are from our first morning of our new routine.
You were such an awesome helper!
Mommy was SOOO sad to have to leave you. I loaded you up in the car and we drove to Jody's. I talked to you the whole way. I told you what you could expect all day & that I would be thinking about you every second & missing you so much. I think I told you I loved you about 10 times in 5 mins : )

Miss Jody greeted us at the door at 6:30 am. I gave her all of the instructions for you. I showed her everything I included for you in your diaper bag & then held your hand and slowly walked away. I didn't want to have to say the word "Goodbye" because I knew tears would begin to fall. I slowly made my way out to my car. I texted Daddy, Grandma Johnson and Grammie and told them that I had just dropped you off.
As I drove to work - I turned up my music and couldn't help but to keep thinking of you.
What were you doing? How were you feeling? Were you sad? Were you happy? Did you miss me? All of these things raced in my head.

I wanted to allow enough time for us so by the time I got to work I was super early. I pulled into a parking lot & started saying my prayers. I thanked God for you, I thanked God for my job, I thanked God for Jody, and I thanked God for looking out for you while I was away. I knew you were in good hands.

I worked from 7:15- 4:30
Grandma Johnson picked you up from Miss Jody's at about noon. You went over to her and Grandpa's house for the rest of the day until I was off of work. I checked in with Grandma while on my lunch break. She said you were doing great - you were eating and sleeping & being a good boy. Thank you, son.
It is not easy being away from you. But, when I hear you are happy and doing good it makes me feel a whole lot better about it.

I CLOCKED OUT AT 4:30 AND RUSHED OVER TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA'S. I WAS DYING TO SEE YOU! THERE YOU WERE...MY SWEET LITTLE BOY...I COULDN'T WAIT TO SNUGGLE YOU UP.

We stayed over there for a little while longer but then made our way back home.
It had been a good day & I had so many people to thank for making it go SO smooth.
WE DID IT JAXO!

2ND DAY OF SCHOOL WENT JUST AS SMOOTH.
I AM ONE LUCKY MOMMY - THANKS TO YOU BABY!
